Service and account

MCP Bro for Google Docs is provided by EPM Development AS. It helps you find research sources for selected text and insert references in Google Docs. You need a Google account, access to the document and an MCP Bro account with available searches. Questions about the add-on can be sent to hello@epmdev.no.

Searches and references

When you start a search, the selected passage is sent to MCP Bro and its model provider to generate searches and rank results. Search terms are sent to source services. The add-on uses Google document permissions to read your selection and insert references or native footnotes in the current document.

Search results and references depend on external source metadata and automated processing. They can be incomplete, inaccurate or irrelevant. Read the original source and check the reference against your required citation style before relying on it. The add-on does not establish that a source supports your claim or that the reference meets every requirement of a particular style guide.

Your content and permitted use

You retain your rights in your document content. Use the add-on only with content you are authorized to process, and respect the rights of authors and publishers when accessing or reusing sources. Do not use the service to gain unauthorized access, bypass account limits or disrupt the service. Installing the add-on does not transfer ownership of your documents to EPM Development AS.

Plans and payment

Searches use the allowance associated with your MCP Bro plan. The app shows your balance and available plans. Installing or uninstalling the Google add-on does not itself purchase or cancel an MCP Bro subscription. Any paid subscription must present its price, billing period, cancellation process and applicable purchase terms before the order is completed.

Privacy and stopping use

See the MCP Bro privacy policy for information about personal data. You can sign out in the add-on and uninstall it through Google. Manage any separate MCP Bro subscription through the account's billing controls; contact support if you need help. Uninstalling the add-on does not remove references already inserted into your documents.

Faults and consumer rights

Report faults to hello@epmdev.no, describing what happened without including confidential document content or authentication credentials. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer rights concerning defects, withdrawal, cancellation or refunds.
